One of America’s favorite unofficial holidays is back – it’s time to shop on Black Friday.
While many retailers have been promoting Black Friday deals throughout November – in person or online – for some, nothing beats the excitement of hitting the malls or stores in the hours after Thanksgiving dinner.
But in recent years, retailers have kept their doors open late or late on Thanksgiving Day, giving their employees a chance to enjoy the holiday with their friends and family. Most businesses now open early on Friday mornings.
However, it is expected to be a record year for weekend shopping; approximately 166.3 million people plan to shop between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, 114.9 million of whom plan to shop on Black Friday, projects of the National Retail Federation.
So if you’re trying to get your hands on the latest tech gadgets or your next winter outfit before someone else gets their hands on them, here’s when retailers will be opening on Black Friday (opening times may vary by country, check your locations to confirm store hours) :
