Ex Oklahoma Teacher’s Assistant is facing rape charges after allegedly sleeping with a 16-year-old student just two weeks after starting at the school.
Ashley Waffle, 22, faces two counts of second-degree rape that could land her in prison for up to 15 years after she allegedly had a relationship with a 16-year-old student in Oklahoma’s Granite School District last month. This is reported by KSWO-TV.
Wafla, who started working at the site on October 10, allegedly started communicating with the student on October 25.
Court documents show the investigation was launched on Nov. 9 after school officials notified police of rumors of a sexual relationship between Waffles and a student.

At that time, Waffle was believed to have intercourse with a student in her apartment twice before November 9.
Wafel was fired from her position on November 10.

In a press release, Border school of the district Superintendent Missy Berry said the school has been cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation and will assist where possible.
The county did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
