A Florida cosmetic doctor has been accused of sexually assaulting several women while they were sedated in his office on posh 5th Avenue in Naples.

The Naples Police Department On Nov. 22, two women confirmed the allegations against Dr. Eric Andrew Salata, a 54-year-old board-certified physician at Pura Vida Medical Spa, although there may be more victims.

“Several people have contacted our detectives regarding the Salat investigation,” Naples Police Department Public Information Officer Brian McGinn told Fox News Digital, adding that he could not confirm reports that a third woman had come forward, according to a local agency. NBC2 News.

According to a Naples police news release, the first victim told police Salata administered “nitrous oxide to help with the sedation and pain of the procedure.”

“During the procedure, as the nitrous oxide wore off, she discovered Dr. Salata having intercourse,” Naples Police said.

The victim went into “shock after the sedation wore off due to what happened, went to the police and was tested for sexual assault,” which was then sent to a lab for further investigation.

A second victim recounted a similar incident in which Salata allegedly assaulted her while she was sedated at his spa. In this case, detectives collected the evidence and sent it to the laboratory.

The first two victims who came forward were 51 and 73, police said in a statement Naples Daily News. The victims recalled inhaling laughing gas on Salata’s instructions to ease the pain of the procedures before he allegedly raped them, the newspaper reported.

Now a third victim has reportedly come forward against the doctor in a report NBC2 News.

McGinn told the paper that the police department “continues to strongly encourage anyone with information to come forward.”

Authorities found Salata at the Pura Vida spa on Nov. 21 and arrested the 54-year-old doctor on two counts of sexually assaulting a physically helpless person.

Salata appeared in court on November 22 and posted bail. His next court date is set for December 19.

Pura Vida Medical Spa’s website and Instagram accounts were taken down after the allegations against Salata surfaced.
