Analysis: Casting a ballot after a holiday week is always a wild thing to do, and this is one of the wildest. Six of the top 10 teams lost – that may not happen until the end of the season… The top winners are Purdue (up 16 spots after beating West Virginia, Gonzaga and Duke by 49 points), UConn (up 13 spots after beating Alabama and Iowa State), Tennessee (up 13 spots after beating Kansas, up 14) and Arizona (up 10 spots after beating San Diego State and Creighton)…The biggest losers are former North Carolina no. 1 (falls 15 spots after losing to Iowa State and Alabama), Duke (drops 10 spots after losing to Purdue at 19) and Gonzaga (drops 9 spots after losing to Purdue at 18).
