CAMDEN – A city woman is accused of fatally stabbing a man in the Parkside neighborhood on Thanksgiving Day.
Laquanda Jones, 27, allegedly killed Bernie Marshall, 55, during the incident on the 1300 block of Princess Avenue, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police who responded to a 911 call found Marshall unconscious and not breathing around 3:05 p.m., the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
Marshall was pronounced dead at a city hospital shortly after 3:30 p.m
After an investigation, Jones was arrested on charges of murder. She was being held in the Camden County Jail.
The allegation against Jones is just an allegation. She has not been convicted in this case.
