The World Cup-2022 advanced to the second round of the group stage.
And on Black Friday, one of the most anticipated confrontations in the tournament will take place, when the USA fights England. This will be the first match between the two teams World Cup match from 2010 when they drew 1-1.
Young and talented Americans played 1-1 draw in their World Cup opener against Wales on Monday. The USMNT faces a tough task on Friday against an England team that has its sights set well beyond the group stage.

Senegal’s top scorer in the World Cup qualifiers, Famara Diedhiou, heads home a corner from Ismail Jacobs.
Senegal have the advantage in possession (61%) and shots (7 to 2), but Qatar had a potential penalty in the box that was not awarded before Senegal scored the first goal.
Qatar’s Assim Madibo burst down the left flank, but before he could get the ball or cross in, Ismaila Sarr made contact. It was a close encounter, but the referee did not go to the video review and the game continued.
Senegal striker Boulaye Dia took advantage of a mistake by Qatar’s defense. Boualem Khoukhi kicked the ball into the box. Dia collected the ball and fired into the top corner to give his country the lead.
Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was shown a red card in the 86th minute after going far off his line and crashing into Mehdi Toremi. Ruzbeh Cesmi scored the winner from the top of the box, and minutes later Ramin Rezayan scored an insurance goal on the stroke of half-time.
The the results mean that England can effectively qualify for the knockout rounds with a draw against the USA on Friday — they can essentially win the group with a win.
For the USA, a draw or a loss against England is now essentially the same result. In the absence of a win against the Three Lions, Greg Berhalter’s men are likely to get the chance to progress out of Group B with a win over Iran on Tuesday.

Qatar are looking to bounce back after becoming the first host to lose their first tournament opener and only the second since South Africa in 2010 not to make it past the knockout rounds.

This FIFA World Cup was supposed to be a celebration of Lionel Messi, the return of Brazil’s dominance or the crowning of France as a team for the ages. Either of these could still happen.
In the beginning, however, it was downright bedlam, as if the NCAA basketball tournament had started on the football field, Nancy Bronia writes.
Political turmoil in Iran also cast a shadow over Iran’s second World Cup match on Friday, with pro-government fans persecute anti-government fans near the stadium in Qatar.
Some Iranian fans confiscated pre-revolutionary Persian flags from fans entering the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium and shouted insults at those wearing shirts bearing the slogan of the country’s protest movement, “Woman, Life, Freedom”.
Small crowds of men angrily chanted “Islamic Republic of Iran” at women giving interviews about the protests to foreign media outside the stadium.

After 90 minutes of pressing Wales, Iran scored twice in three minutes of stoppage time. The second half was all Iran. A red card for Wales goalkeeper Hennessey was just the first thing Iran needed to get the win.
Iran outscored Wales 21 tries to 10.
The result means the USMNT’s future is in their own hands with games against England on Friday and Iran on Tuesday.
Hennessy received a red card, meaning he is out for the next game against England. Meanwhile, Iran’s Alireza Jahanbakhsh was booked against Wales, meaning he is also out for the next game against the USA.
Toremi on attacking Iran with only Hennessy in the way. The Welsh goalkeeper raised his leg and collided with Toremi. Originally shown a yellow, the referee reviewed the video and changed the yellow to red to send Hennessy off. Wales are down to 10 men and Danny Ward is in goal.
Iran’s prowess up front, Azmoun, comes off the field. He had one of Iran’s closest chances on the breakaway but looked tired as he walked off the field.
He finishes the day with four shots, two on goal, and 22 touches. Iran has more than twice as many shots as Wales.
Iran’s two best moments came early in the second half after a breakaway from Sardar Azmoun. The striker flew around the Welsh defense but his shot hit the right post. Teammate Ali Galizadeh followed with a second from the left post.
Before the game, the Iranian players sang the national anthem skipping the tradition during his first game against England.

A few hours later European football authorities succumbed to FIFA’s threats plans to show a small sign of support for the LGBTQ community, Iran’s players risked the wrath of their government by refusing to sing the national anthem before Monday’s game. European teams backed out because they feared jeopardizing their World Cup chances, while Iranian players went ahead despite knowing that security forces at home would arrest, beat, shoot and even kill those who dared protest against death Mahsa Amini. Both teams had their moments in the first half. For now Wales dominated possession statistics and finished third in attack more times, Iran took advantage of the counterattack. Iran got into the game by making the most of the sun in Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey’s eyes.

Iran were 3-0 down at half-time against England on Monday, and if the team loses to Wales, they are effectively out of the tournament with one game to go.

Wales were given an early warning after Iran struck first. Sardar Azmoun sent a through pass to Ali Ghalizadukh, who was caught offside when he took a low shot.
The goal was quickly disallowed.
Five changes for Iran since Monday, most notably in goal. Alireza Beiranvand remains sidelined after suffering an apparent head injury during England’s 6-2 defeat. Hossein Hosseini starts in goal. Iran also added a more defensive shape to their formation.

Friday’s task will not be easySenegal boast a host of players from the top leagues in England, Spain, Italy and France, even if they are without injured striker Sadio Mane.

Holland – Ecuador – 11 am
This match could decide the winner of Group A. Ecuador upset the hosts with a brace from striker Ener Valencia a 2-0 win in their World Cup opener on Sunday. The Netherlands break away a 2-0 victory over Senegal, who boast a huge amount of talent. A win here would further cement the Netherlands’ expected status as a contender for the World Cup title.

England – USA – 14.00
With the opening of USMNT p drew 1:1 with Wales and England beat Iran 6-2at the first World Cup tournament comes at a crucial time for both teams. While England can take a step closer to winning Group B with a win, the USA will be looking to at least keep their hopes of reaching the round of 16 alive. A win or a tie would put the Americans in decent position to be one of two teams to advance. However, this is a loaded England team with hopes that go well beyond simply reaching the knockout rounds.
