PATERSON, N.J. (WABC) – Paterson, New Jersey, kicked off its first restaurant week on Friday — and it’s a pretty good deal.
Seventeen local restaurants are offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $17.92 through next Friday.
Mayor Andre Sayegh says participating restaurants showcase Paterson’s diverse population — like Al Mazak — which was founded by a family fleeing war-torn Iraq.
Mayor Sayeh hopes this action will help restaurants continue to recover after the pandemic closures.
Prix Fixe menus are priced at $17.92 to reflect the year Paterson was founded.
