Yankees, track and field lineups Friday | Anthony Rizzo is out; Gerrit Cole vs. JP Sears

OAKLAND, CA – New York Yankees and the Oakland Athletics continue their four-game homestand Friday night at the Oakland Coliseum.

First pitch is scheduled for 9:40 p.m. EST, Amazon Prime Video will televise the game.

Pitching matchup: Yankees righty Gerrit Cole (9-6, 3.41) vs. Athletics rookie lefty J.P. Sears (5-0, 1.93).

Sears will face the Yankees 3 1/2 weeks after they traded him to the Athletics in the Frankie Montas deal.

Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo is rested as the A’s start the lefty.
