Daddy Yankee, “King of Reggaeton,” has announced his retirement after 32 years.
He said this in a video he posted on his social networks and on his website.
His song “Gasolina” recently gained new life in TikTok due to high gas prices.
He will have the last tour to say goodbye to the fans for the last time.
In a statement, he said: “Today I am announcing my retirement from music, giving you my best staging and best concert tour. I say goodbye to this new collectible, the album “Legendaddy”, celebrating these 32 years. I’m going to give you all the styles that defined me in one album».
