Thousands of New Jersey veterans may be eligible for additional health benefits provided under the PACT Act. Signed by President Joe Biden over the summer, the PACT Act expands VA benefits to those exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange and other toxic agents, mostly in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to the VA, more than 820,000 veterans have already been screened, with 39% expressing concern about exposure.
