A Pennington man was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) after his Ford SUV crashed into the back of a Honda SUV on Route 1 on Nov. 21. As a result of the impact, the Honda SUV spun and crashed into a concrete divider. The Ford SUV overturned, left the road and crashed into a sign and a tree. A Pennington man was issued a DWI summons and taken to the hospital after complaining of pain.

A Plainsboro woman was charged with shoplifting after she allegedly took several bottles of liquor worth a total of $557.78 from the Wegmans on Nassau Park Boulevard on Nov. 5. She paid for several bottles of liquor and then allegedly went back to the liquor aisle, selected additional bottles of liquor, put them in her bag and left the store without paying for them. She was processed and released.

A Camden man was charged with DWI after his Nissan sedan rear-ended another vehicle while both vehicles were traveling on Route 1 at Farber Road on Nov. 4. He was processed and released.

A Trenton man was charged with shoplifting after he allegedly scanned some items, but not others, in the checkout lane at the Target on Nassau Park Boulevard on Nov. 2. The items that were allegedly not scanned were valued at $194.49. He was processed and released.

A Camden man was charged with shoplifting and hindering apprehension for allegedly stealing two camera lenses worth a total of $2,799.97 from the Best Buy store on Nassau Park Boulevard on Nov. 1. He allegedly gave police a false name after he was stopped while walking on Clarksville Road with the stolen items in his possession. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest from Camden. He was processed and released.
