Mother Nature is not over with the winter storms.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind recommendation for all of New Jersey from 10 a.m. Saturday to 1 p.m. Sunday. A storm warning is also in effect along the coast.
Temperatures on Saturday will drop rapidly, leading to freezing of any standing water on uncleaned sidewalks and driveways. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour are expected on Saturday afternoon and evening, which could lead to power outages and some damage to trees.
A storm is warned off the coast of New Jersey from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. With steady winds of 20 to 30 knots and gusts of up to 45 knots the conditions will be dangerous.
Is snow expected in South Jersey?
It will rain mostly in South Jersey on Saturday. According to 6ABC meteorologist Adam Joseph, up to one inch of snow is expected on the shores. From Corridor I-95 to inland South Jersey is forecast to drop one to three inches of snow.
If you are looking for snow, you will need to head to North Jersey or across the river in Pennsylvania.
