U.S. employers added 678,000 jobs in February – the most since July 2021 – according to the latest U.S. Department of Labor data. In addition, the unemployment rate fell to 3.8% – lower than originally expected.

The New Jersey Department of Labor and Labor Development has announced that from March 28 it will offer personal unemployment benefits at single career centers by appointment. The announcement came shortly after the state Senate unanimously passed a resolution calling on Governor Phil Murphy to immediately close the unemployment gap and reopen public institutions.
