Burlington County Attorney Scott Coffin and Palmyra Police Chief Megan Campbell announced that a 48-year-old man from Palmyra had killed early in the morning of March 19 while sitting at his residence, shots fired at a house outside.
Timothy Thomas was in his living room in the 400th Quarter on Cinnaminson Avenue when around 2:30 a.m. several shots were fired at the residence. Thomas, who was punched in the chest, was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he was proclaimed. died shortly before 4 p.m.
A relative who was in the same room with Thomas when the shooting occurred was not injured. A preliminary investigation suggests there were several shooters who fled on foot in the direction of the Delaware River.
There were no arrests.
