PnB rockThe murder investigation is taking a deep dive into his past – because apparently the police got the impression that this could have been more than just a random robbery… on the contrary, it could have been a planned execution of an enemy.
LAPD sources tell us the case is moving in multiple directions at once — and one of them involves detectives digging into the late rapper’s personal life … especially when it comes to who he was dating — or possibly , beat his head – as a result of which -to be beef.
We’re told investigators are particularly interested in his ties to Atlanta, where he apparently spent quite a bit of time, as well as his hometown of Philly … and they’re asking anyone and everyone if PnB had any enemies who might have for him.
PnB’s lyrics are also under the microscope at this point, with cops wanting to know if he mentioned any altercations he may have had with any of his peers and/or other people.
This is an interesting development. Cops initially thought it was a fatal robbery – in which random thieves came across PnB and/or his girlfriend’s social media, saw what they were up to, and went on the attack. But then why didn’t they just rip his chains off and walk away instead of shooting him multiple times and killing him?
Now the cops believe it could have been a more elaborate scheme by someone with a vendetta.
No matter how you cut it … the fact that this is an LA investigation now crossing state lines pretty mind boggling – and they certainly wouldn’t have done it without at least a good foreboding.
Now as to how things are going from a point of view Identification of suspects and/or the getaway vehicle … our sources say cops are still trying to track down the vehicle through video feeds. We’re told they get a lot of tips, but it takes time to sift through them to determine which ones are legitimate.
Finally, we’re told the cops don’t believe the PnB girl, Steph, was involved in PNB’s death. People outraged that she published their location suggested that she may have done it on purpose. Our sources call it BS, adding that she had no part in the planning or execution of the assassination in any capacity.
