FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP – Angela Villarreal, who teaches Spanish at Freehold Township High School, won the 2022 Leadership School Award at the annual conference of the National Association of Professional Development Schools on February 10 in Chicago.
“I am honored to receive this prestigious award and represent the Freehold Township High
Freehold High School and Regional District, ”Villarreal said.
“FRHSD gave me the best professional development, which prompted me to become a better teacher. Everything I do in this area is for my students, and I am honored to be their teacher, ”he said.
Villarreal, who recently completed his doctoral program at the University of Monmouth, West Long Branch, was honored for his partnership with and on behalf of the University of Monmouth, including participation in the Teachers ’Residence Program, published in a journal at PDS Partners.
