The restructuring of the list due to the new regime of the giants has taken a surprising turn.
The team released security veterans and team captain Logan Ryan on Thursday, a move reportedly saving just $ 775,000. Ryan signed a three-year extension until the 2023 season back in December 2020.
The relocation time is probably due to the $ 3 million qualification guarantee Ryan was due to receive on Friday, Record.
Rutgers ’product started all but one of its 31 games with the Giant in the 2020 and 2021 seasons, recording 209 team selections along with 17 protected passes, 5 forced touches, two gropes, two sacks and one interception.

Ryan was a universal component of the Giants ’defense and a leader in the locker room under former head coach Joe Judge and former defense coordinator Patrick Graham. But obviously new head coach Brian Dabol and his staff want to move in a different direction.
The 31-year-old Ryan is a two-time Super Cup champion. The first four seasons he spent in the “Patriots” as a choice in the third round, and then for two seasons moved to the “Titans”. He is now a free agent again and could potentially pursue another ring with the winning team instead of staying with the Giants through their lengthy rebuild.
The two main security items left on the Giants list are Xavier McKinney and Julian Love. Jabrill Peppers is a free agent.
The Giants have also announced that they have re-signed Korea Cunningham’s offensive pick. The 6-foot 6, 311-pound time was distributed between the training squad and last year’s active roster.
