The Council of Middlesex County Commissioners will raise the Ukrainian national flag in solidarity with the local Ukrainian community to call for peace at 10 a.m. March 12 near the Middlesex County Administration Building, 75 Boyard Street, New Brunswick.
Director Commissioner Ronald G. Rios and Commissioner Charles Kenny will begin the short ceremony in the Commissioner’s meeting room located in the building.
The program will end with the raising of the Ukrainian flag on the corner of Boyard and Elm streets.
In support of local partners, the district will accept donations from the population in support of Ukrainian refugees. Items may include non-perishable products, personal care items, electronics / batteries, clothing for all ages, toys, etc.
