The bookmark was made for $ 50 million connecting High Line with Moynihan Train Hall

WEST SIDE, MANHATTEN (WABC) – A new High Line connector was laid on Wednesday to allow pedestrians to easily reach the Moynihan Train Hall.

The $ 50 million project will connect New York’s High Line with the Moynihan Train Hall through Magnolia Court, which runs through Brookfield Properties ’Manhattan West building.

Two bridges – Woodlands Bridge and Timber Bridge – connect with the end point of 10th Avenue High Line.

The connector will run parallel to 30th Street along Dyer Avenue through Manhattan’s West Side, ending at 9th Avenue directly opposite the Farley Building and Train Hall Moynihan.

The public-private partnership, which includes Empire State Development, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Brookfield Properties Group and Friends of the High Line, is working on the project.

The High Line Moynihan Connector offers a safe, scenic experience for passengers, residents and visitors moving in the busy area near the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel.

The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2023.
