
Rapper Toumani “Smooky MarGielaa” DiabatĂ© has reportedly been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place in Queens, New York the last month. He was reportedly taken into custody on September 1, 2022 accused of attempted murder in the second degree.
Smuki Margilao is reportedly charged in connection with a shooting that happened on 41st Street across from Grand Central Parkway in New York. At approximately 2 a.m., a group of men allegedly got into an argument that resulted in one man allegedly pointing a firearm at another man, who police say is a New York rapper. In response, the New York artist is accused of firing several shots at an unidentified person. After the impact, the unknown person allegedly handed the firearm to a third person, who fled the scene. From there, the other shooter, who police say is Smuki Margilao, also fled the scene.
“The first shooter is a black man with dreadlocks, wearing a red T-shirt and red shorts. The third man has a fair complexion and was wearing a green inside-out baseball cap, a white T-shirt, green shorts and white sneakers,” the local New York news agency reported. QNSreads.
The New York native is expected back in court on September 20, 2022. A conviction for attempted second-degree murder carries a sentence of up to 25 years in prison. Smooky MarGielaa has yet to make a public statement on the matter.
