The 68-year-old told the wrestling news outlet that a man in his mid-20s walked in through his and his wife Debra’s front door. Duggan said he took down the man himself, grabbed his .44 caliber pistol and held the man at gunpoint. The pensioner added that he heard more people outside and thought there might be more trouble, so he turned off the Christmas lights and told the man to be quiet.

Duggan said the man he held at gunpoint was scared and thought people in the neighborhood were going to kill him. Duggan said he called the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department to help resolve the matter.

“We would like to thank the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department for their quick and professional response last week. A man we had never seen before climbed over the fence, ran across our yard to the front door and was banging on our glass door,” Duggan’s statement read.

“Before we could get to the door, he opened it and fell into our house. I held him at gunpoint while Debra called 911. We’re safe, no injuries.

“Thank you all for your care and well wishes.”

Dagan didn’t seem to need a foreign object. During his fight, he came down to the ring with a 2×4.
