Pop icon Britney Spears has signed a $ 15 million book deal to publish memoirs after 13 years of conservation

Britney Spears has said she wants to tell the story of her life, and now she has contracted a book to do just that.

A source close to Spears told CNN that the singer recently signed a contract with publisher Simon & Schuster worth more than $ 15 million.

The New York Post was the first to report on the singer’s upcoming book.

A source denied the report that Spears ’decision to share her story was made in response to her younger sister Jamie Lynn’s recent memoirs, which the singer publicly condemned.

CNN contacted publicist Spears and the publisher for comment.

The book appears at a time of new beginnings for the Grammy owner. She got engaged to her longtime partner, Sam Ashari, and her 13-year-old conservative graduated last year.

At a summer hearing, Spears described the court’s agreement as insulting and said her father, Jamie Spears, should be prosecuted for her role as guardian.

Elder Spears claimed to have acted in the interests of his daughter.

Britney Spears has not yet publicly commented on her plans for the book.
