A new movie theater is opening soon in New Jersey.

Famous theaters recently purchased the former CMX Market Cinemas building in Kloster.

The theater with five halls is located at the address of st. Vervain, 130 Kloster Plaza and will open on Friday, September 30.

“The Closter is the latest of several acquisitions Landmark has made this summer,” said Landmark Theaters President Kevin Holloway. “This location positions us in another key market in the community destination center, allowing us to expand our brand offering in time for the exciting holiday movie season.”

Landmark is upgrading the theater to include new reclining movie theater seats and an expanded grandstand.

The theater will join popular brands like Target, Whole Foods Market, HomeGoods, Starbucks and Chipatlin Closter Plaza.

The company is currently operating 35 theaters nationwide.
