Many sites across Mercer County offer free income tax preparation assistance to help them prepare for and file taxes for 2021.
The deadline for filing tax returns for 2021 on state and federal taxes is April 18.

AARP Tax-Aide program sites in Mercer County
The AARP Foundation provides tax assistants to help low- and middle-income people prepare taxes by 2018 at Mercer County Connection, libraries and other sites.

The VITA program typically offers free tax assistance to people earning $ 54,000 or less, people with disabilities, and taxpayers with limited English-speaking needs to help prepare their own tax returns.
