Many sites across Mercer County offer free income tax preparation assistance to help them prepare for and file taxes for 2021. The deadline for filing tax returns for 2021 on state and federal taxes is April 18. Below is a list of sites where qualified individuals are free to assist in preparing income tax. AARP Tax-Aide program sites in Mercer County

The VITA program typically offers free tax assistance to people earning $ 54,000 or less, people with disabilities, and taxpayers with limited English-speaking needs to help prepare their own tax returns.
