LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police are investigating the disappearance of former bodyguard Megan T Stallion, who reportedly went missing before a scheduled court appearance in the trial of Canadian rapper Tory Lanez.
Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, released a statement to ABC News saying that he and his team recently learned of Justin Edison’s disappearance.

“The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating his disappearance and welcomes any information regarding his whereabouts,” the statement said.
Edison was to testify The trial of Lanez, who is accused of shooting Megan on her feet after leaving a party at Kylie Jenner’s house in 2020.
Lanez pleaded not guilty to grossly negligent use of a firearm, assault with a semi-automatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a motor vehicle.
Additional details about Edison’s disappearance have not been released.
It comes after Megan’s former best friend and assistant Ty Stallion testified on Thursday.
Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, could face more than 22 years in prison if convicted on all counts. He could also be deported to his native Canada.
Since launching his career in 2009, Lanez has had a successful run of mixtapes and major label records, with his last two albums reaching the top 10 on the Billboard charts.

Megan Ty Stallion, whose legal name is Megan Peet, was already a major up-and-coming star at the time of the incident, and her career has been on the upswing ever since. In 2021, she won a Grammy for Best New Artist and had #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 with her own song “Savage” featuring Beyoncé and as a guest on Cardi B’s “WAP.”
