The incident was first reported at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the college campus in the 1,500-quarter Baltimore Pike in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Arriving police officers found three knife victims, all students of Lincoln University.
One victim, identified as 21-year-old Jauvin Evans, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other two were immediately taken to Christian Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, where they were treated and released.
On Wednesday night, the Chester County Attorney’s Office announced the arrest of 39-year-old Nidira Smith of Philadelphia on murder charges.
Lincoln University issued the following statement after being stabbed:
“We are deeply saddened by the incident on campus last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. We are serious about the safety of our students and are working with local authorities as an investigation is underway. No further comments are available at this time. ».
There were reports that a major fight broke out before the knife was inflicted.
Chester County Attorney’s Office is expected to release more details Thursday.
