Update: Added a video message from Post Malone
Post Malone fell hard on St. Louis, literally, after he stepped into a hole that took him down in front of a packed house Saturday night at the Enterprise Center.
The singer, dressed in a St. Louis Blues by order, was performing the song “Circles” in the middle of the show when the accident happened.
During his Twelve Carat Tour concert at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Saturday night, the Rockstar hitmaker tripped over a section of the stage used to dip instruments during a performance of his song Circles. Post, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, received medical attention and, after taking about 15 minutes to recover, returned to the stage to finish the concert. Following the incident, the star took to social media to give fans an update.
As he descended the extended ramp on the arena floor, Malone apparently failed to notice that the hole his guitar had been lowered into was not closed. He stepped into the pit, falling on his chest.
A team of medics rushed to his aid and helped him on stage for several minutes while the fans booed.
Malone eventually stood up and was escorted off the stage with the help of fans. Before leaving, he spoke into the microphone and asked the fans to give him three or four minutes and he would be back.

About 15 minutes later, after casually exiting and clutching his ribs, Malone returned for a much shortened set that opened with “Rockstar” and “Cooped Up,” featuring his artist, rapper Roddy Rich. Malone held his ribs the entire time.
He was clearly in a lot of pain, but seemed determined to carry on with the show as best he could.
Malone thanked the crowd for their patience, explained that there was a “big hole” in the stage, and constantly apologized to his fans.
He managed a few more songs — “Sunflower,” “Congratulations” and “White Iverson” — before saying goodnight, though he lingered onstage to sign autographs.
Malone took to his social media at noon Sunday to explain the accident, saying it “got good for me.”

“We just got back from the hospital and everything is fine. They gave me pain meds and stuff so we could keep kicking ass on tour. I just want to apologize to everyone in St. Louis and thank you guys so much for coming to the show, and the next time I’m here, we’re going to do a two-hour show so we can make up for a couple of songs that we missed.” .
Malone is currently on his Twelve Carat Tour, which is scheduled for September 18th in Columbus, Ohio.
