MP Josh Gotheimer (D-Wykaff), Senate Budget and Appropriations Chairman Paul Sarlo (D-Wood Ridge), Republican nominee John Henry Eisman and Republican strategist Dan Scharfenberger to join presenter David New Jerseybe at Power Glovestein’s Hour at Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, March 5 at 4 p.m.
Gotheimer is the co-chair of the House of Representatives caucus. A former White House speechwriter Clinton and head of Microsoft, he ousted a seven-term Republican congressman in 2016 and was re-elected twice.
Sarlo was elected to the State Assembly in 2001 and to the Senate in 2003. He has been mayor of Wood Ridge since 2000. He chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee from 2008 to 2010 and chaired the Budget and Appropriations Committee from 2010.
Izeman is seeking Republican nomination to Congress in New Jersey’s 7th constituency, where MP Tom Malinowski (D-Ringoes) is seeking re-election for his third term. A 27-year-old Long Valley resident, the son of a minister and a school nurse, Izeman worked on Wall Street before heading for humanitarian aid in Guatemala.
Scharfenberger is the head of Tom Keane Jr.’s campaign in Congress in NJ-7. In 2021, he served as executive director of the Republican Majority Election Committee in the Senate, in Keane’s campaign in 2020, and in Bob Hugin’s campaign in the U.S. Senate in 2018.
