“Sacrifice and Survival: A Story from the Front Line” Fox Nation, Fox News Correspondent details Benjamin Hall’s Extraordinary Recovery from near-fatal injuries sustained in a deadly attack in Ukraine, debuts Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on Fox News.

A few weeks after the Russian invasion began in 2022, a Fox News crew covering the conflict came under fire from Kiev. Favorite Fox News photojournalist Pierre Zakrzewski and Ukrainian journalist Alexandra “Sasha” Kuvshinova were killed in an attack that devastated Fox News and the journalism industry as a whole.

Hall barely survived and was flown out of the war zone by the non-profit organization Save Our Allies. Since then, he has undergone approximately 30 surgeries, lost a leg on one side and a foot on the other, and no longer has the function of an arm and one eye.

In a clip from the documentary, Hall detailed the experience of reuniting with his wife after they made a joint decision for her to stay at home in London with their young daughters while he rehabbed in Texas.

“I was so worried about it that I didn’t know what to say to her. I just remember, we just hugged,” Hall said. – We just cried.

Last week on The Martha McCallum Story, Mehler offered viewers what she hopes will come out of the documentary.
