Rose Farias, now Deputy Executive Director of the Office of Casino Reinvestment Development (CRDA), today announced that she is joining Senate President Senate’s governing team Nicolas Scutari (D-Linden) as Senior Policy Advisor.
According to a press release announcing the hiring, Farias “will work closely with Senate leadership to create a political platform for the Senate. She will be critical of the analysis of political issues and give recommendations to the President of the Senate. ” The release also notes that Farias will be the first Latin American to perform the role.
Farias has worked at CRDA, which has been directing government spending on projects in Atlantic City and across the state since 2019.
“The commitment made by the CRDA over the past two years is unprecedented, and today we can see a significant return on the investment made by the Atlantic City community,” she said of her time at the agency. “It was an honor to work for the great people of Atlantic City.”
