Raw video: Crews battle a house fire in Frankford

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood Monday afternoon.

The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of Salem Street.

According to officials, the fire started in one of the townhouses, but spread to several others. At least five houses were damaged.

Chopper 6 broadcast the scene live and showed thick smoke coming from the houses.

No one was injured, but officials said about 20 residents were displaced.

The fire was extinguished at 1:29 p.m

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
