NEW YORK (WABC) – This week in an episode of “Close”, Gov. Katie Hochul consolidated the support of her fellow Democrats in her fight for the governor of New York.

Although the state Democratic Party has already approved Hochul, several other Democrats are running.

We are talking to Tom Suotti, who is renouncing his seat in Congress on Long Island to run against Want.

And we’re talking to former New York City Police Commissioner Bill Bratan about a sudden surge in crime.

Brittany says he can stand behind the growth and what officials can do to stop it.
