Hudson County residents are getting help to make ends meet. The Hoboken Food Chamber distributes food from three locations in the city every other Friday. It has become a necessary resource for hundreds of families, especially due to inflation, which has led to rising prices for many foods.
“I’ve heard customers say,‘ I never thought I’d be in that position, ’” said Chesley Mead, director of food chamber operations.
