CHELSEA, MANHATTEN (WABC) – A gunman is being searched in Manhattan on Tuesday night after two men were shot dead, one deadly.

Police say two men were standing on 19th Street and 9th Avenue in Chelsea around 10pm when they were both shot.

The suspect shot the 27-year-old ex-boyfriend of his current girlfriend, hitting him on the arm. He also hit this man’s 31-year-old friend, killing him.

The suspect fled to Ninth Avenue and was not arrested. His identity has also not been revealed yet.

It took place on Ninth Avenue next to the city’s Fulton Houses, right in front of Meatpacking County.

Ninth Avenue has been closed all night and still seems to be closed on Wednesday morning.

The investigation into the shooting continues.
