LOS ANGELES – A dramatic video shows a driver trying to perform a dangerous high-speed stunt on a Tesla, but ended up in an accident in the Los Angeles area.

In the viral video, Tesla is swept through an intersection, climbing through the air before crashing into two parked vehicles and several garbage cans.

The incident occurred shortly after Sunday midnight, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The dangerous scene was recorded by mobile phones of several spectators.

A 2018 Tesla-leased release was dumped at the scene. The police currently have no description of the driver.

The LAPD said the driver, who remains at large, would be charged with assault.

The $ 1,000 reward will go to anyone who provides information that will lead to “identification, apprehension of the offender and conviction or resolution through civil compromise,” the LAPD said.
