The Edgewater Park City Police Department said 25-year-old Anthony Carder of Levittown, Bucks County, surrendered without incident to authorities on Tuesday morning.
Carder was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, one count of assault with a car, one count of possession of a weapon for illegal purposes, one charge of illegal possession of a weapon, and four counts of possession of terrorist threats.
The incident occurred in Wawa on the 4,100th quarter of South Route 130 in Edgewater Park Township just after 2 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 20.
The video, received by Action News, shows the suspect in a blue coat quarreling with several men near the store.
The video shows the suspect with his hand in his pocket; police say that’s where he kept the knife.
That’s when things get worse, and the suspect brutally stabs one of the men.
Then the video shows him unleashing a full assault and they stumble behind the cars from behind the camera.
Police say that it was here that the suspect hit one of the victims with a knife near the jaw, as well as cut the victim’s jacket, trying to stab him in the chest.
The video shows feathers from the coat scattered in the parking lot.
Then things spill out towards Vava’s gas stations.
Then a group of men started throwing protective cones at the suspect and he was surrounded.
The video shows the suspect throwing his car, and things get worse.
Another view from the Wawa security video shows the suspect getting into his car and hitting the second victim before leaving.
Police say the cause of the chaos was a petty dispute.
“Looks like a group of subjects argued over the simple‘ what are you looking at? ’” Said Lieutenant John Harris of Edgewater Police Department.
The victims received non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Carder was treated and imprisoned in Burlington County.
