East Harlem, Manhattan (WABC) – Police say a young mother was attacked in front of children last Friday night in Harlem.

It happened around 7pm opposite Park Avenue 1663.

Authorities say the 22-year-old woman was getting out of the car when three men approached her.

One of the men pulled out a gun and handed it to another who hit her on the left side of the head.

The men then hit her car several times with bats while her two children were in it.

The victim managed to escape to a safe place, and the attackers fled.

The Ministry of Emergencies reacted and inflicted light bodily injuries on the victim at the scene.
