Robin Nini, a loving wife and mother, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, after a long illness. She died at her home in Princeton, New Jersey, in the arms of her husband and daughters.
Robin was the devoted wife of her husband Kevin and the devoted mother of her two daughters, Christina and Olivia. Robin’s kindness and generosity touched everyone. She was a light in the dark, a hope in despair and throughout her illness comforted family and dearest friends.
Robin loved to express herself through interior design and fashion. She was an extremely creative and talented person who shared her hobbies with those she loved. It was designed to bring happiness to friends, family and strangers.
Robin spent summers off the coast of Jersey with her large family and friends. She loved being by the water and often called it her “happy place”.
Born in Patterson, New Jersey, Robin spent most of his young life in Edison before moving to New York to make a successful career in advertising. Robin retired in the late 1990s before starting a family in Princeton. Deeply involved in raising children, she enjoyed relationships with parents, teachers and students. Her warm and outgoing personality won the hearts of everyone she crossed paths with, becoming a favorite member of the Princeton community.
Daughter of Elaine and the late Stephen Tuminel, she is survived by her husband Kevin, 29, her daughters Christina and Olivia, her sisters Lori and Wendy, as well as several beloved nephews, nephews, aunts and uncles.
The visit took place on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Maser Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton, NJ 08542. A Christian funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at St. Paul’s Church, 216 Nassau St. ., Princeton, NJ 08542. Robin was laid to rest with relatives at Princeton Cemetery.
