KEW GARDENS, Queens (WABC) – Police are looking for a man wanted for a brutal attack in Queens that was filmed on camera.

The incident happened Monday around 10pm when an unknown suspect approached a 37-year-old man on the corner of Jamaica Avenue and 132nd Street in Kew Gardens.

A new video released by police shows the suspect pushing the victim to the ground.

NJ Burkett reports from a second vigil that took place just as many days after the horrific murder.

The 37-year-old lost consciousness after hitting his head on the ground.

The suspect then scanned the man’s pockets before fleeing the scene. What was stolen is not yet clear.

The victim was taken to a Jamaican hospital where he is in critical condition.

Two of the eight victims who were forced into prostitution were children who were in a foster family placed in the care of his wife. Eyewithness News correspondent Michelle Charlesworth told the details.

The age of the suspect is approximately 30 to 40 years.
