BATTERY PARK CITY, MANHATTEN (WABC) – New York Road Runners joined the Ukrainian Running Club New York on Saturday morning for a jog to show solidarity with the people of Ukraine – and wish peace.

Runners set off from Pier A Plaza in Battery Park. Many are dressed in blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag. They encouraged each other.

The organizers presented the participants with yellow flowers when they finished the run.

The Ukrainian Running Club asks people who want to support Ukraine to consider donations to organizations such as UNICEF and Doctors Without Borders.
