“Raj represents a new generation of leadership, and I know that the people of Jersey City and Hoboken do not have a better representative, so I enthusiastically support his candidacy for the State Senate,” Murphy said.

Murphy praised Mukherjee’s legislative achievements over more than eight years in Trenton, where he served as a majoritarian in the Assembly before serving as chairman of the judiciary in 2020.
