Sunday football between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a good one this week. Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady each had multiple touchdown passes in the first half as the two teams combined for 45 points…

But the biggest star of the half was clearly Andy Reid.

The Chiefs head coach sent NFL fans into a frenzy on social media when he made a surprise appearance in a new State Farm commercial that debuted during the game.

The ad shows Reed drawing mustaches on his players’ faces in an attempt to “communicate” with them. One of the victims happened to be his quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.

It seems that Mahames was able to attract his coach to the State Farm team. That should get him a few extra fourth downs this season.

I’m not sure if it was Mahomes or Saugus’ idea, but it seems to have worked as social media went wild after seeing Andy Reid in the commercial.

You know what they say. Any publicity is good publicity. And Andy Reid’s State Farm ad got a ton of “good publicity” on Twitter.
