WILMINGTON MANOR, Delaware (WPVI) – In New Castle County, Delaware, a motorcyclist was killed when a motorcyclist split in half after an accident.

It happened around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday on North Dupont Highway (Route 13) and McMalin Avenue, south of I-295, at Wilmington Estate.

Delaware State Police said the biker was moving at speed when the motorcycle collided with a car.

The motorcycle crashed into two parts.

The death of the motorcyclist was stated at the scene.

The car continued to drive on the northern lanes of Route 13 before stopping in the parking lot.

No other victims were reported.
